I've played on an Ibanez S470 with ZR Tremolo bridge and my hand placement needed heavy adjusting, but the playability, the everything is just freaking amazing.I've bought this guitar because i needed a solid and good sounding axe to play with the band . And i've got to say , i'm not dissapointed at all , i'm actually very impressed However, if you want to branch out and play other genres of music, there are definitely more versatile guitars out there. And on paper, the EC-1000 is objectively a fantastic guitar, especially when you consider the price.

I own 3 primary guitars. This one, an American Ultra Stratocaster, and an ibanez RG 550 Genesis series. I would say that this is the most versatile guitar I own. And truthfully, I feel like it plays and sounds better than my other two. Of course, this doesn’t mean that it is a perfect instrument for every player on the planet, and there are many who will dislike what it has to offer. Pros Needless to say, on a cheap amp, the guitar won’t sound nearly as good. Considering the price of the instrument, there is a high chance you already own a decent amp, so you won’t need to worry about anything. As I mentioned previously, the fretwork on the EC-1000 is pretty much flawless. I didn’t experience any sharp fret edges or dead spots.The model I mentioned here has a traditional fixed bridge, but you can also find ones with tremolo, Evertune, fixed tremolo, and so on. Each of the models that have something unique on them will have additional letters in the name. Nevertheless, if you are used to this feature and need to have it on every guitar you own, beware that this instrument doesn’t come with a factory preinstalled tremolo, and it’s also quite problematic to find a separately sold tremolo that would fit it. One thing I will mention however is that access to the higher frets isn’t as great as it could be. This is in typical Les Paul fashion. The single cut shape doesn’t allow for your thumb to slide up far enough, so you’ll really need to reach for the higher frets.
