Your situation: Teaching 2 kids (6 and 8). Have used multiple maths programs and products before and having a poorly year last year, we're 'restarting' from the beginning this year to give a stronger foundation.
However, we are updating all of the Practice Books with new GCSE questions as and when we require reprints of these books. The The intial development of this project was funded by PricewaterhouseCoopers, but with additional funding from ESSO, Corus, and the Garfield Weston The aim of the programme was to raise standards in mathematics by promoting a more teacher-focused teaching philosophy together with the provision of suitable teaching resources. This teaching philosophy is based on the continental model best practised in mathematically high achieving countries such as Hungary and Poland.Over the past 5 years we have supported the introduction of Core Maths courses for post-16 education; these course are for

From 1998, under the direction of Professor David Burghes, a new mathematics course for primary schools in the UK was developed and trialled. This course, the Mathematics Enhancement Programme (MEP) Primary Extension proved to be very successful in enhancing mathematical progress in trial schools. Improvement in test results at Key Stage One had been at least as good as, or where MEP strategies have been implemented effectively much better than, the national average. This is a longitudinal, international project in mathematical attainment, monitoring the mathematical progress The core materials for each year group are the pupil texts, lesson plans, teaching notes, overhead slides, diagnostic tests and revision tests.
