About this deal

I shy away slightly from wearing this fragrance as it has the best projection from a fragrance out of my collection so far. I worry that I’d nauseate my friends around me, even though they love the smell. The projection is brilliant and I’ve received the most amount of compliments and notice from wearing this fragrance out of any other. Some people can smell this from several feet away. I feel like this is probably best used layered with something that's a lot woodier, like maybe CDNIM. Whilst I now understand what everyone is on about with the sweet pineapple note, I can confirm it's not for me. Man, Lattafa hasn't had a single miss in the 12 blind buy haul I received last week. Even the ones incompatible with my olfactory preferences were good performers with good ingredients. Although I don't get any Aventus vibes whatsoever, I'll admit that something in the mid does remind me of a single accord from the original Club de Nuit Intense edt. But for the first hour, it's that awful saffron-oud mix that dominates. Medicinal and with a powdery and crystalline sweetness. Definitely vibes of Oud for Greatness, although nowhere near as woody or spicy. There's a bit of Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud too but without the whole By The Fireplace feel. If I were to place it in a genre, it would be a relative or distant neighbour of BR540.....ish. Absolutely nothing smells anywhere close to natural in this; and although the blend does get better with time, I find myself becoming more annoyed with each sniff. What can I say. The style just isn't for me.

TASTE: Grilled pineapple. Pineapple upside down cake. Pineapple margarita. Ambrosia salad. Pineapple kesari. I’m surprised nobody has compared this to Cedrat Boise. They have a similar vibe with that fruity opening and the woody dry down. Not exactly the same but they serve the same purpose. As others have mentioned this is a very good scent to layer. I created a concoction of 2 part Qaed, 3 parts Moustache, and 5 parts Terre Hermes. Smells absolutely wonderful. The big pineapple opens really goes well with the earthy Hermes. On its own it’s ok. Nothing ground breaking but good for the price. This is an incredible fragrance. Great scent, smells like pineapple being sliced on a wooden cutting board, nothing further. This has to be one of the most heavy pineapple scents I’ve ever smelt. Although this does have a slight woody dry down to it, I can’t smell the oud as the base notes suggest, neither the floral/powdery notes.

SIGHT: The Sun by Edvard Munch. Wheatfield with Reaper and Sun by Vincent Van Gogh. Sunflower New Mexico 1935 by Georgia O'Keeffe. Michelle Williams. Goldie Hawn. Monarch butterfly. Step 2: Take the sh*tty dirtiness from Al Haramain's Detour Noir and synthetic oud-saffron combo from miriads of middle eastern BR540/Oud for Greatness smell-alikes. This doesn't really smell like pineapple. It starts with a mixture of a sweet artificial pineapple imitation (not the real thing at all!), some synthetic oud, and a standard ingredient in designer perfumes that I've smelled a thousand times and always reminds me of melon/cucumber. I suppose the latter is what people might identify as saffron.

I would really like a fresh scent that lasts but am open to others. These are the ones I’m considering trying next: Anyway, I like it and it might definitely see some use from me. It's a good fragrance, great if you take price into consideration, but I don't think it will land anywhere close to my favorites. This isn't my favourite fragrance. It's not the best thing I've ever put my nose on etc. etc., but what it is is a sweet, decent performing fragrance that is WAAAAAAAY better than it has any right to be for the price. That's what makes it incredible. Not so unisex to me, more masciline, but if a lady is confident and likes D&G L'imperatrice for summer and Xerjoff Erba Pura for winter, this will be a good choice for spring and fall. Either way, they're both great. Amazing juicy pineapple opening with some sexy spices and sweetness.I bring this up because Qaed Al Fursan smells exactly like what you get when you do that: sweet, delicious, slightly smokey pineapple, with just a hint of resin/woods. It's also not going to appeal to everyone, but if you DO like pineapple, it's a great way to experience the essence of one (QAF and grilling a pineapple both are, as far as that goes - but to be clear, I'm talking about the fragrance here). There's a smokiness to it that you find in a lot of masculine fruit scent profiles. I wouldn't wear this in the winter, it'd be annoying. I'm envisioning the wet, rainy version of this scent and it's not good. I think this could be nauseating in the summer. Probably a spring time scent but your mileage may vary. This fragrance opens up with a pretty synthetic scent for the first few seconds and then transitions into a near perfect pineapple. The dry down starts to become a little more smoky but stays true to that opening pineapple. I sprayed Bogoss on my left hand and QAF on my right, and at a first spray I almost preferred the Bogoss because it's a tad bit fresher and has some more "oomph" to it, I could hardly smell QAF when I tried to sniff my right hand. In summary, if you put Qaed Al Fursan in a Parfums Vintage bottle and sprayed it on me (or yourself), you could fool me, maybe momentarilly, maybe all day.

Ramz Silver - dislike the pear opening but love the woody dry down and it’s absolutely beast mode but won’t get again bc the opening is not to my taste opening is too feminine imo Delivery Delays: Soghaat is not accountable for delays due to Customs inspections or other factors beyond our control. While we can't be held responsible for courier delays, your money is safe with us, and we work diligently to ensure swift deliveries. You'll receive what you've paid for, but please note that delays during transit are beyond our control. SMELL: Pineapple Jasmine soap. Car Wash air freshener. "High-end" dog cologne from groomers. Pineapple Fresca.I bought both Qaed Al Fursan and Lattafa Rave Now, and they smell almost identical. Rave now has a little more ripe pineapple and Al Fursan is little more syrupy sweet, but they're very similar. Get whichever is cheaper or whichever bottle you like more - no point in getting both in my opinion.
