About this deal

I bought my first airfryer when I was following the Slimming World diet, so it was really bought from a healthy eating point of view. Following the Government’s recent Better Health strategy encouraging the country to lose weight to help reduce the effects of coronavirus and protect the NHS, a switch from a poured oil to Frylight allows you to easily reduce the amount of fat and calories in your diet – with no compromise. Airfryer Roast Potatoes Recipe – I love my airfryer and have used it a great deal over the last 7 years. Another favourite of mine is this Airfryer chips recipe. One question that pops up all the time is how to do the best air fryer roast potatoes. Now, there is more than one answer but I shall try to cover all bases! Slimming World Style Airfryer Roast Potatoes A brilliant all-rounder, Frylight Sunflower Oil spray is as comfortable frying as it is releasing cakes from baking moulds! Uniquely blended with plant extracts, Frylight uses no artificial ingredients - a top cupboard essential. Using ‘light’ oil doesn’t necessarily mean it’s lower in calories and fat. More often than not, it just simply means the oil is lighter in colour and flavour!

If I want something sweet on an evening while watching the TV, then I feel less guilty about a bowl of popcorn when seasoned with salt and sweetener or a small dash of syrup. You can make frylight popcorn in a large pan with a lid, but the popcorn won't pop as big if say using a tablespoonof sunflower oil. Just spray your pan generously, place in your popcorn kernels (I tend to cook with smaller quantites with frylight, such as30g), place on the lid and keep shaking your pan over the heat like a mad person until the popping stops. It usually takes around 2-3 minutes to make. For reasons of hygiene and safety, personal grooming products, cosmetics or items of intimate clothing cannot be returned.

Using 5 sprays per cook (5kcal/0.5g fat), which can replace 1 tablespoonful of oil (120kcal/15g fat) or butter (110kcal/12g fat) = 95% less fat and saves over 100 calories per cook.. Frylight is the original 1cal cooking spray - a lighter alternative to cooking oil. Suitable for frying, baking, grilling and roasting. Gluten free. Nothing artificial. Approved by the Vegan Society and the Vegetarian Society. Frylight. With so much controversy in the media about the relative risks of fats and carbs, it’s hardly surprising our patients get confused. The Flora product cleverly notes on the front that it is a sunflower oil spray “made with plants”. Under ingredients it lists simply “hi-oleic sunflower oil” indicating it is high in monounsaturated fat. It has just 2kcal in each spray.

One of my favourite uses with the chilli frylight this year has been my peanut satay medjool dates. Although not strictly fat free, I have loved removing the date's seed, adding a teaspoon of pure peanut butter, sometimes a sprinkle of cocoa or cacoa powder and a spray of chilli. Hits... the... spot!

Italian olive oil producer Felippo Berio makes an extra virgin olive oil spray with no additives or preservatives. There is no list of ingredients as it is not necessary to create one when just one ingredient is used. It explains that the olives used are from Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Tunisia. It also has a version for frying that uses refined olive oil. Neither mention the number of calories, but all olive oils have about the same. Rapeseed oilOnce they are finished you will have light, golden potatoes, crunchy on the outside and fluffy inside. Low calorie and very filling. If you are following Slimming World then these are considered syn free roast potatoes. Tefal Actifry Roast Potatoes Despite the recent media frenzy on the benefits of using pure coconut oil, there is sadly little conclusive evidence that using this type of oil is a healthier option compared to traditional oils. In fact, coconut oil is one of the few plant oils that’s loaded with saturated fats! For those still wanting a little taste of coconut without the calories, try using Frylight Coconut Oil. Five sprays of Frylight Coconut Oil – enough to coat a regular frying pan – contains just 5 calories and less than 0.5g saturated fats, compared with 135 calories and 13g saturated fats (65% of the recommended maximum saturated fat intake) per 15ml tablespoon of pure coconut oil. Using 5 sprays per cook (5kcal/0.5g fat), which can replace 1 tablespoonful of oil (120kcal/15g fat) or butter (110kcal/12g fat) = 95% less fat and saves over 100 calories per cook.. Approved by the Vegan Society and the Vegetarian Society. Frylight. Although quite a simple twist, the olive spray adds a little touch to a simple salad which can at times taste quiteboring if you just want it as a side to fill up on. I find it much more palatable than a wet salad which doesn't taste "too healthy".
