The concentrate is filtrated, added to other distinctive and secret ingredients, diluted with water and sugar, and bottled.I do agree with the other reviewer though, check ingredients, this is not vegan and contains egg white (unlike other brands). The Lazzaroni family originally operated under two different companies but in 1927 they joined to become one sole company producing both the Amaretto Liqueur and food products.
