About this deal

This is one I listened to on Audible and I think that hearing some of Graeme's stories in his own voice made it all the more enjoyable. Our dogs mean the world to us and as owners we do our best to make sure they feel happy and loved, whilst also keeping them in line when needed. He's worked from the Scottish Highlands to the Channel Islands (and pretty-much everywhere in between).

This has been the most easy book to read relating to dog behaviour, the humour is present throughout (which helps A LOT) and the analogies help simplify how to see things from a dog's point of view. All of our books are 100% brand new, unread and purchased directly from the publishers in bulk allowing us to pass the huge savings on to you!But wouldn't it be so much easier if we spoke the same language and could ask what they were thinking or feeling? Graeme focuses a great deal of the book on this principle of course and the book continues from there. Having worked with over 5,000 dogs - from Great Danes to Chihuahuas, and everything in-between - he has seen every behavioural issue going, whether it's aggression, house-destruction, refusal to obey commands or extreme anxiety. This is a used book - there is no escaping the fact it has been read by someone else and it will show signs of wear and previous use.

Dogs want our attention — if they're more likely to win that by barking or jumping than by trotting quietly at heel, then that's what they will do. But wouldn’t it be so much easier if we spoke the same language and could ask what they were thinking or feeling?

Back then, rottweilers were getting a bad press as 'devil dogs' and, serving as a special constable, Hall was determined to train them responsibly. There was a font of knowledge regarding the body language of a dog and Graeme dispels some of the myths of dog training. I love watching Dogs behaving (very) badly, so it was a no-Brainer that I’d get the book and read as soon as I could!

Graeme Hall is a ‘people person’ and a ‘dog person’, therefore he connects with humans and canines alike. Graeme Hall 'The Dogfather' has been described by the Telegraph as 'Britain's best dog trainer', Graeme criss-crosses the country helping dog and puppy owners with behaviour problems.

Our team is made up of book lovers who are dedicated to sourcing and providing the best books for kids.

Although Hall's online critics note his lack of professional qualifications, he argues that the number of dogs a trainer has helped is more important than the number of letters they have after their name.Dogs have this relationship with all their relationships and it isn't as clear as it it may seem to us. There’s a difference between competition dog obedience training (which most people don’t want) and great everyday dog behaviour – which everyone wants.
