It's a little bit unique smelling because of the prominent balsam fir resin which creates an aromatic, green, fresh spicy accord. The message of this fragrance is that it is created to share, so there is no age range and it is perfect for passing down from generation to generation and make it a family treasure.
Bought this a few days back, sprayed it on and immediately thought 'wait I have something very very similar.It kind of reminds me of a bad movie where you wonder if they even watched it before they released it. It doesn't open as nicely, with the bergamot significantly blander than the orange in the Eau de Parfum, and it goes to the drydown almost immediately, which has an OVERWHELMING amount of fir. These pulse points have a temperature superior to the rest of the body, and this will help the fragrance to evaporate slower.
Its encouraging is totally amazing, an explosion of citrus that flood our senses of joy and happiness, filling our day with an enviable vitality. I expected this fragrance to have nothing to do with the original Chrome (do any of the flankers, really?Quite similar to the EDP but not exactly the same to me, this one is a little less sweet, perhaps it has a touch of 'Extreme' or 'Aqua' but it doesn't veer so much towards the green side of things and is smoother, richer.
