Over 10 years ago, something crash landed in the kitchen of a North London grill joint and Beavertown was born in BBQ sauce and gamma-rays. Lager is also slowly bottom-fermented, while IPAs are quickly top-fermented, meaning they're made in scorching temps.

Beavertown first began brewing in 2011 and was founded by Logan Plant, son of iconic musician and Led Zeppelin vocalist Robert Plant. This has continued to modern day, with a huge choice of styles from brewers all over the country found across our beer range. One of the stars among the new wave of London craft brewers Beavertown started life as a project by Logan Plant, son of Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant, in 2011 after he was inspired by homebrewing experiments. Over the nine years since Beavertown began life, we’ve gone from a BBQ joint in Haggerston to now brewing over 90 million pints a year in our new home in Enfield. After it's been brewed, it then usually sits in a cold environment for a long time to develop its finer flavours.

In the process they've become one of the most sought after craft breweries and in addition to their ever popular regular beers there's a dazzling array of specials, limited editions and collaboration brews which are always eagerly snapped up. But, if you wanna get specific about it, lager is a beer that's been brewed at a cool temperature by slow fermentation (oooh, science).
