About this deal

Species such as fire ants inflict painful stings, which can be life-threatening to hypersensitive individuals.

Nothing my else has worked is I’m really hoping the Nematodes get them to pack their bags and find somewhere else to live! The other was a new one, first seen this spring, and it was coming up near my front door, half in paving stones and half in a flower bed. And I would think conditions are good for them right now, as it has been rainy ever since I applied the nematodes.Nemasys® No Ants is safe to use on turf or soil without any of the precautions associated with chemical use. Nematodes are capable of surviving the odd frost; so don't worry if the temperature falls after you have applied the nematodes. We recommend that you only make arrangements for tradespeople to carry out work on your behalf after your turf or other products have been delivered. Use Nemasys® No Ants to deal with an ant infestation, without any of the precautions associated with chemical use.

Nemasys No Ants is a product containing microscopic worms (nematodes) which are natural predators of ants. Nematodes can be applied between late spring and early autumn, or when the ground temperature is above 10°C. For proper and effective control of ants within your lawn – the best course of action is to use nematodes.

So enjoy your lawn and garden, secure in the knowledge that what you’ve used to get rid of pesky ants poses absolutely no threat to humans, pets, plants or the environment. Besides being a nuisance, ants contaminate food, build unsightly mounds on property, and cause damage by hollowing out wood and other materials for nesting. Steinernema Carpocapsae Steinernema Carpocapsae nematodes (SC) is most effective against flea larvae, ticks, ants , and caterpillars in lawns, garden soil, and under trees where larvae pupate. Nematodes are safe to use on the lawn without any precautions associated with chemicals, so children and pets will be allowed on the lawn immediately after the treatment has been carried out. These easy to apply beneficial nematodes are simply mixed in water and applied to the entrances of ant nests that you wish to remove.

However, at this point, treating ants with nematodes doesn’t seem to be a miracle solution, working in some cases, but not in others.

Not only can these be unsightly, become a trip hazard, and make mowing difficult, but they can also cause root damage to the grass plant below ground. You’ll need to locate the centre of the nest and apply the nematodes directly using either a handheld sprayer or a watering can. This is very difficult to determine as it is dependent upon many factors such as soil structure, moisture content and weather conditions.
