I introduced the session by showing examples of existing architecture and pavilions such as those created for the Serpentine Gallery in Hyde park each summer for inspiration. thats not bad to start, I have approached a young model today who is willing to model for the rates we can afford to start with, she has said she will also have one or two friends who will be up for it so its down to us photographers to show some interest. The Studios are housed onsite at The Model, facilitating artistic connections for contemporary creativity, collaboration and dialogue. it would be a shame if people who want to learn this type of shooting dont come forward and give it a go, if no one likes it then nothing lost. If this idea takes off and we can get a bit of a regular thing going we can also look at different venues etc, next summer we can organise an outdour shoot which will hopefully reduce charges to snappers allowing more to be spent on the models etc.

Having looked into this somewhat I have found that most photographic clubs charge about the same or more and in most cases you have to pay a membership fee up front as well, all that I will insist on is that your money will have to be paid upfront as I dont want a situation where 12 say yes I will come and only 5 turn up leaving me having to still pay the studio and the models etc, I am sure most of you will understand the need for this.
