Between the portability, ease of use, adjustability, overall quality, and laundry list of thoughtful features and special design considerations, this chair left us with very little to complain about. It’s not a big deal during setup, but when you’re already sitting in it with your feet propped up, it is hard to finagle (especially if you’ve got a pregnant belly, like me).

There's a buckle that holds the chair together, so it won't spring open while you're carrying it on your back. The extra wide armrests, head support, 5 reclining positions, adjustable lumbar support, face cushion, and cavity (similar to that of a massage table) are enough to keep you comfortable all day. I borrowed my mom's for a day at the beach recently to decide if it was worth the splurge, and it 100% is! Three strong spring connect the chair surface and frame, providing enough elasticity and support for the chair. The fabric used on the seat and cushions is a 600D polyester fabric, which is smooth to the touch, gentle on the skin, and exhibits remarkable resistance to wear and tear.In a future iteration of this backpack beach chair, I would like to see a button on either armrest that makes the footrest open and close.
