Because all the various gods and goddesses are shown in a two-page illustrated layout, with the Roman versions shown toward the end of the book. Editing Medea to not kill her babes was also an interesting choice, when dads are killing the kids left and right. Her uncle, for instance, was a clergyman and poet who translated the Icelandic Eddas into Norwegian and set his own poetry to music by Edvard Grieg.I have only recently delved into the wide world of audio books and I have found that narration can either make or break a book.
