There is such brilliant humour throughout and I love how Gary is trying out all sorts of lines and ideas for costumes when he first discovers his superpowers . Soon the whole class including the teacher are suffering when the fractions class seems to never end. It was such a pleasure to meet you both, and I really appreciated how smoothly and professionally you ran everything. If I was going to put this poor character through a fictionalized version of what I went through, I wanted him to have at least as many tools in his arsenal as I did. BATPIG follows the amazing, porktastic adventures of Gary Yorkshire – an entirely normal piglet whose world is turned upside down when he’s bitten by his friend, Brooklyn the bat, and develops the power of flight!All of the stories are about Batpig although I do like the story about one of Gary’s friends Carl the fish. With the support of his best friends, Brooklyn the bat and Carl the fish, he finally feels like he’s getting a handle on this whole superhero business. He likes mud baths, reading comics, video games, eating tasty sandwiches, and playing cards with his friends Brook the bat and Carl the fish.

Batpig is ready to swoop into the lives of middle-grade readers and is set to bring action, life lessons and gross-out giggles.He and Brooklyn work on honing these together, and don't tell Carl because he doesn't keep secrets well. First, he needs to come up with a great slogan and figure out how to vanquish bad guys with the help of his best friends - Carl the fish and Brook the bat. Just like in the first book in the Batpig series, Batpig: When Pigs Fly, this book is filled with two separate stories, along with a mini intermission story, all arranged to look like individual comics to read.
