This is the last main game to be released fully for the Wii. Superchargers instead released a racing spin-off for the Nintendo Wii called Superchargers Racing Light and Dark have the lowest number of Skylanders in the entire series, excluding the Kaos Element. Skylander Trap Team is a third-person action game from the official Skylander franchise that offers practically the same graphic quality and game system as the console version on the screen of your Android device. That's right. Traps are not necessary to play Skylanders Trap Team. I would argue that they definitely make it more fun, but they are not necessary. In Skylanders: Battlecast, Jawbreaker, Snap Shot and Krypt King carry Traps that act as Relics, being able to temporarily summon Dr. Krankcase, Chill Bill and Masker Mind respectively.

The traps also make it much easier to bring a new figure up-to-speed in the later levels. They are not the only Skylanders that can trap Villains, but they will deal more damage to Villains. They are also the only Skylanders that can break Traptanium crystals. In Trap Team, however, a new item type has been added: the trap. Unlike the figures, which bring characters into the game, the traps can be used to store forty-seven [6] enemy characters originally found in the game (including Kaos), who may then be controlled as good characters. These stored characters can be taken to other consoles. [1] The Traptanium Portal has a speaker incorporated in its design, to emphasize the trapping mechanic. [6] When enemies are "trapped", their vocals travel from a screen to the portal. [6] Skystones Smash, a mini-game and successor to Skystones from Skylanders: Giants has been added. Now let's say that you want to use this Trap to capture Chill Bill (another Water Villain). No problem, this exclusive Trap still functions as a normal Trap.
